Our Guided Fishing Trips for Smallmouth Bass take place on the Shenandoah River or the Potomac River. These two rivers converge where three states converge, so different licensing is required for different stretches of the rivers. A Fishing License from MD, WV or VA will be required for your trip. If you have any of these fishing licenses for the current year, please let us know when you make your reservation, and PLEASE BRING THE LICENSE WITH YOU. We will try to schedule the trip to avoid an additional purchase if the conditions cooperate (we always choose according to the best fishing conditions first!)
Just prior to your trip with us, we select the location that will be most productive for the current River Conditions based on Water Temperature, Water Clarity, Water Flow and where the Fish are in the season's cycle. We determine this only a few days before your trip, and sometimes, depending on the situation, we decide just the day before.
Your Guide may contact you a few days prior to your trip to let you know where you will be fishing and which licensing to purchase. The links to the right will take you to the websites where your licensing can be purchased online. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A LICENSE WITHOUT SPECIFIC DIRECTION FROM YOUR GUIDE. If you would like to make the license purchase in advance, and you have not heard from us, please call and we will do our best to advise you at that time. There are times when it is best to wait until your arrival and make the purchase in our office when you arrive.
